That's the developers' stated goal and they have certainly delivered, so whenever I'm ripping a disc Handbrake is my go-to tool. Handbrake is hands-down just about the best, most finely tuned tool for encoding content ripped from DVD or Blu-ray. I tend to use both, although for fairly different uses. I am going to be be buying Videoredo anyway when my trial runs out and Handbrake is free, so my question is whether there is any difference between the two programs for the purposes of creating. I have tried both programs for this and they both seem to work fine (I noted that the Videoredo file was twice the size of the Handbrake file, but this is probably due to individual settings of each program). I note that videoredo can offer this, but then I have also been recommended Handbrake in the past. I now want to consider converting everything to. Ultimately, I have just been editing out all the adverts and saving everything to. I am currently using Videoredo to edit all my recorded programmes - I am currently using Mediaportal, thus I am currently creating lots of. I know this forum might be a little biased towards Videoredo, but I would be grateful for some impartial advice if possible.
